Latonya Franklin is the Editor in Chief and founder of Metro Vieve Magazine, a regional fashion, beauty, and lifestyle publication based in Columbia, South Carolina. Metro Vieve focuses on celebrating and amplifying the voices of women, creatives, designers, and cultural tastemakers in the Carolina region.
She has served as the magazine’s publisher and editorial leader since 2020, overseeing both print and digital issues.
The magazine produces curated fashion and lifestyle content, nurtures local creative talent, and offers community-oriented editorial features.
Under Franklin’s leadership, Metro Vieve Magazine has:
* Built a growing readership in the Carolinas with both digital and print subscribers.
* Positioned itself as a community-driven platform spotlighting local fashion trends, cultural events, and creative collaborators.
* Supported internships and collaborations with emerging stylists, journalists, and creatives.
Franklin is a United Stated Air Force Veteran and earned a Master of Science in Management degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
