The 8th Annual A Sun for My Sun Fashion Show Fundraiser, presented by Strut Talk Runway Therapy, is a powerful and purpose-driven experience centered on healing, remembrance, and transformation. This year’s theme, From Grief to Grace, reflects the journey of turning pain into purpose and loss into legacy.

Held in Columbia, South Carolina, this signature event honors the lives of those lost to gun and domestic violence while uplifting the families, especially mothers, who continue to stand in strength and resilience. Through the art of runway, these women courageously share their stories, walking not just in memory of their loved ones, but in their own power.

The event blends fashion, storytelling, and advocacy into a moving production featuring designers, models, and community leaders. Each segment is intentionally curated to create a space for women’s healing and empowerment, allowing attendees to witness the beauty of transformation through confidence, posture, and presence.

Recognized by the City of Columbia with an official proclamation, A Sun for My Sun is more than a fundraiser, it is a movement. Proceeds support Strut Talk Runway Therapy’s programs, which provide confidence coaching, mental and emotional wellness support, and resources for individuals and families impacted by trauma.

From grief to grace, we rise, we heal, and we strut thru it together.

En-Cloth-Sure is a night of sophistication and brilliance with Anton & Maxine as they present their Spring/Summer '26 collection with their second annual in-house fashion show, En-Cloth-Sure 2. Featuring the artisanal craftmanship of Diko Pekdemir-Lewis, this collection promises to deliver one-of-a-kind, luxury pieces translated through patchwork and linen.

Prior to the presentation, they'll have wine, hors d'oeuvres, and massage therapy provided by Felicia Berry from Magic Hands. Opening the fashion show with a dance performance will be, previous Anton & Maxine intern, Katelyn Vetro. Following the runway show, stay for our Sip & Shop to enjoy a drink, good conversation, and shop the new collection.

Imagine an unforgettable evening where the warm, golden hues of early autumn light up the city, creating a poetic and dreamy ambiance for a transformative night of impowerment, fashion, healing, charity, and - of course - runway.

Please join us on September 28, 2025, @Boyd Plaza in front of the Columbia Museum of Art for a four-hour evening that promises to blend elegance and purpose to celebrate our suns gone too soon, to honor their parents who Strut Thru It™, and to fundraise to support our gun sense advocacy and domestic abuse and gun suicide prevention programs.
