ELECTRONIC PRESS KIT

FOR RETAILERS AND BRAND OWNERS

Electronic Press Kit (EPK) is designed to aid Metro Vieve Magazine in effectively developing stories related to featured businesses, artists, products, and services.  Press kits should contain necessary content to fully represent the brand’s story and mission. EPK content may vary depending on industry, brand, and the size of each business; however, the basics should include various components of the following information: 

COMPANY/ARTIST FACT SHEET

A summary of the company’s history, important details, how and when the brand evolved, what products or services are offered, important people and company positions, significant awards received, and other relevant information to our readers.

BRAND OWNER BIOGRAPHY

Detail the brand owner or designer’s industry of origin, relevant education, source of creative inspiration, past relevant industry experiences, hometown, current city, and studio location. Also, list any related interests and/or community involvement.

 VISUALS

Include photographs (professional looking headshots) of the brand owner or designer. Provide high-resolution digital images of current collections, look books, and videos representative of current or featured work for inclusion in socials and print.   

 SOCIAL CONTACT

Include preferred contact information, business logo (high-res digital png/ jpg files), website links, social links and handles, preferred hashtags, and recent links to press articles (blog or magazine) where the brand products or services were featured. Also include product pricing and sales representative contact information, if applicable.

CONTRIBUTORS

Ensure all contributors involved in the submission is credited and has provided a photo release to include permission for publication of their image.  Contributors may include, but not limited to: photographers, models, hair & makeup artists, nail artists, clothing designers, and fashion retailers who loaned wardrobe to the photo session.

SUBMITTING THE EPK 

All official EPKs will be submitted via e-mail only to: submissions@metrovieve.com.  Title email: “EPK-(insert brand name)” Content submitted otherwise will not be considered. Include all information in email body, with files attached.

Spring Issue:             Available 1 Mar – 31 May              Submission Deadline: 15 Jan

Summer Issue:          Available 1 Jun – 31 Aug               Submission Deadline: 15 Apr

Fall Issue:                   Available 1 Sep – 30 Nov           Submission Deadline: 15 Jul

Winter Issue:             Available 1 Dec – 28 Feb           Submission Deadline: 15 Oct
