Unveiling the artistry of fashion with our styling intern, Ryan Manor. From meticulously crafting a vibrant mood board to handpicking each bold piece, Ryan's innovative vision takes center stage with her theme of 'Colorful Tights'. Her dedication to transforming intimidating fashion pieces into wearable art can be seen in every aspect of these photos.

Ryan explains, “My goal was to show how somewhat intimidating clothing pieces can be broken down and worn by anyone. Colorful tights aren’t just a statement; they bring a pop of color and life into every mediocre outfit. With the invaluable collaboration of my fellow stylist, Genny Hicks, our talented photographer Jamaal Josef, and the stunning model Trinity, my vision truly came to life. They captured the essence of embracing one’s bold side and stepping out of your comfort zone. This theme encapsulates the idea of transforming fashion pieces that might initially seem daunting into something accessible and empowering for everyone.”

Ronnie

“For this project I had two main focuses going into styling: mixing feminine and masculine pieces and layering.

I wanted to show that pieces that sometimes seem too edgy or too girlish can become much more wearable when mixed together and created a sort of dysfunctional harmony that is really fun to look at. I encourage anyone out there wanting to try a new style to go for it and mix it with some of their tried and true pieces. This is something really on trend right now and also speaks to a larger feminist movement. For so long women were expected to only dress one certain way and I think today’s woman is expected to do everything and be everything and these look represent that internal struggle.

Another big focus for me this season is layering. Layering adds so much dimension to an outfit and is such an easy way to dress up or down and stay comfortable in winter weather. For one look I popped a red sweater and red belt on to my model, Ronnie, while she was wearing a mainly grey outfit and really adds a fun detail. This is a great way to get creative with what you have in your closet and create unique looks. I have a few thrifted cardigans and jackets I throw on top of every outfit in the winter.”
